Instrument Technician - Sofia, Bulgaria


As an Instrument Technician at our company in Sofia, Bulgaria, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all types of instruments used in our production process. This includes but is not limited to calibrating, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on various equipment such as pressure gauges, transmitters, and flow meters. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of instrument principles and experience working with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of process instruments
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Perform calibrations on instruments to ensure accuracy
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify problems with instrumentation
- Maintain records of all maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians to complete projects in a timely manner
- Follow safety protocols while working with hazardous materials

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong understanding of instrumentation principles
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with safety procedures when working with hazardous materials
