Finisher - Woodworking and Furniture Finishing Specialist

We are searching for a skilled Finisher to join our woodwork and furniture manufacturing team in Oslo, Norway. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying the final touches to our handcrafted pieces, ensuring their quality and appearance meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling, and staining as needed
- Apply finish coats using various techniques such as spraying, brushing or wiping
- Mix and match stains and finishes to achieve desired color and effect
- Inspect finished pieces for flaws and make necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Maintain equipment and tools used in finishing process
- Work closely with other members of the production team to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in woodworking or furniture finishing
- Knowledge of different wood types, finishes, stains, and techniques used in finishing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify flaws or imperfections in finished pieces
- Good physical stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Location:
Our workshop is located in Oslo, Norway. Due to the nature of this position, we are looking for candidates who are already living in the city or are willing to relocate at their own expense.
