We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team in Mombasa. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions and events, such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create unique floral arrangements according to client preferences and event themes
- Source high-quality flowers and materials from local suppliers
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers using different techniques such as wiring, taping, and gluing
- Maintain the freshness of flowers by trimming stems, changing water regularly, and adding preservatives
- Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering suitable suggestions
- Manage inventory levels and ensure all supplies are well-stocked
- Keep track of orders, payments, and deliveries to ensure timely completion of projects
- Collaborate with event planners or venue staff to set up floral displays at events when required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Florist or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and plants
- Ability to create visually appealing arrangements using color theory principles
- Excellent communication skills to understand client preferences and provide suitable recommendations
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexibility to work long hours when needed
- Creative flair with attention to detail

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in floral design is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for managing inventory and processing payments
- Familiarity with different types of tools used for flower arrangement
- Knowledge of safety procedures for handling flowers
