Senior Accountant


As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our company in El-Ain. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparation of financial statements, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your main duties will include but are not limited to:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Reviewing and verifying financial information for accuracy and completeness
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Conducting month-end and year-end closing processes
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconciling bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
- Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Assisting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Providing support for audits by internal or external auditors
- Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing necessary changes

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations in Egypt
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with various departments within the company
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month based on qualifications and experience.

This position is located in El-Ain, Egypt.
