Part-Time Turner in Svalbard

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Svalbard. As a part-time Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines used to shape metal parts for various industries. This position offers a salary of 1400$ per month and does not include accommodation. While experience is preferred, we also welcome freshers with the necessary skills and enthusiasm to learn. Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to shape metal parts according to specifications
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine proper dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments if necessary
- Use hand tools such as chisels, files, and drills to shape and finish products
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working with machines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Prior experience as a Turner preferred but not required
- Knowledge of various types of metalworking materials and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Attention to detail and precision
- Physical strength and stamina
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
