Truck Driver



As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials from one location to another. This position will be based in Nizwa, Oman and is open to both Canadian nationals and graduates. No English language proficiency is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another, following designated routes and schedules
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes as needed to avoid delays or hazards
- Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers as needed
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time, including delivery receipts, logs, and other records
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 or Class A driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Ability to read maps, follow directions, and use GPS systems
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Familiarity with local traffic laws
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor maintenance tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
