Junior Data Mining Analyst - Funchal, Portugal



We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the collection and analysis of large datasets to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in data mining.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the collection and cleaning of large datasets from various sources
- Use data mining tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from the data
- Analyze data trends and patterns to identify key business opportunities
- Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data-driven insights

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets
- Familiarity with data mining tools such as R or Python is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time position paying 1600$ per month. We also offer visa sponsorship for international candidates. Please note that accommodation will not be provided.
