Indian Chef

A busy restaurant in Sharjah is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious authentic Indian dishes while following all health and safety standards. You must have a strong knowledge of Indian cuisine, as well as experience in creating new and innovative dishes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, as they will be working closely with other kitchen staff and interacting with customers. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori, biryani, and more
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Collaborate with management to create new menu items or specials
- Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal culinary training or degree in culinary arts
- Experience working in a high-volume restaurant
- Knowledge of Arabic cuisine
