Junior Game Developer

Join our team as a Junior Game Developer in our fast-paced and dynamic gaming company located in Os, Norway. As a game developer, you will work collaboratively with a team to design, develop and implement new game features and mechanics. You will assist in creating storylines, characters, and environments while ensuring the overall quality of the game. The ideal candidate should have a passion for gaming and a strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, Java or Python. Prior experience in game development is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop new game features
- Write efficient, well-documented code using programming languages such as C++, Java or Python
- Assist in creating storylines, characters, and environments for games
- Test and debug code to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in game development
- Work closely with artists and designers to ensure the overall quality of the game

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as C++, Java or Python
- Passion for gaming and experience playing various video games
- Knowledge of game development software (e.g. Unity, Unreal Engine)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Prior experience in game development is preferred but not required
