Long Haul Truck Driver



As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances, typically between cities or even countries. Your primary task will be to safely drive your truck and trailer to the designated destination while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading cargo, conducting routine maintenance checks on your vehicle, and keeping accurate records of your trips.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with GPS systems and electronic logging devices (ELDs)

Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer truck safely and efficiently across long distances
- Transport goods from one location to another in a timely manner
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers via radio or phone as needed
- Keep accurate records of hours driven, miles traveled, fuel consumption, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck interior at all times
- Report any accidents or incidents immediately
- Follow delivery schedules provided by dispatch
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1400 per month.

This position is located in Albena, Pakistan.
