Entry-Level Turner


As an entry-level turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in metalworking. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with their hands and eager to learn new skills in the field of metalworking.

Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to cut, shape, and finish metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machine settings and specifications
- Monitor the performance of machines, make adjustments as needed, and report any malfunctions or issues to a supervisor
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety protocols and performing routine maintenance on machines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metalworking or operating machinery is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new skills
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month.

This position is located in Eschen, a charming town situated at the foot of the beautiful Swiss Alps. Eschen offers a peaceful yet vibrant community with plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.
