Entry-level Carpenter


We are hiring an Entry-level Carpenter to join our team in Al Buraymi, Oman. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in starting a career in carpentry and has a passion for working with their hands.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan the layout of projects
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber or other materials according to measurements
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Work with various hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Follow all safety procedures when using equipment or handling materials

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in carpentry is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights if necessary

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month. There may also be opportunities for overtime pay.
