Quantity Surveyor
Location: Salalah, Oman


We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Salalah, Oman. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates for construction projects
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop cost-effective designs
- Monitor project progress and ensure that costs stay within budget
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify any potential issues
- Prepare monthly cost reports for project stakeholders
- Review and approve variations or change orders
- Conduct regular valuations of work done by contractors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in building regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam or PlanSwift
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of local building regulations in Oman
- Willingness to work on site when necessary

Salary: 1500$ per month
