Data Mining Analyst


We are searching for a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Vilnius. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify patterns and trends that will inform business decisions. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data mining strategies to gather information from various sources
- Clean, organize, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods
- Identify patterns and trends within the data to assist in decision making
- Communicate findings and insights through visualizations, reports, and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and provide data-driven solutions
- Monitor data quality and make recommendations for improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into data mining processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data mining or analysis
- Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Prior experience in the technology or finance industry
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques
- Knowledge of web scraping tools
