We are seeking a reliable and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with information about products or services
- Process sales transactions by scanning items, totaling purchases, and accepting payment in various forms
- Maintain accurate cash drawer by counting money at the beginning and end of each shift
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and escalate to management when necessary
- Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and labeled
- Keep checkout area clean and organized
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
