Preservation Architect


We are in search of a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Mauren, providing architectural services to preserve and protect historic buildings. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for developing plans and strategies to maintain the integrity and character of historic structures while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of historic buildings to determine preservation needs
- Develop comprehensive preservation plans and strategies, considering historical significance, structural integrity, and budget constraints
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for preservation projects
- Oversee the implementation of preservation projects, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications
- Provide guidance and support to clients on maintenance and restoration of historic buildings

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Architect, with a focus on historic preservation
- Extensive knowledge of historical building materials, construction techniques, and preservation methods
- Strong understanding of relevant local laws and regulations regarding historic structures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software

Salary:
$1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
