Long Haul Truck Driver

We are a transportation company based in Faro, seeking an experienced and reliable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across long distances, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Inspect vehicle before and after each trip, reporting any issues or malfunctions
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery details
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and deliveries
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair
- Ability to read maps and use navigation systems
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and strong time-management skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month plus bonuses for timely deliveries. Accommodation will be provided for out-of-town drivers.

Location:
Our company is based in Faro, but the job requires long-distance travel across the country. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel extensively as required by the job.
