Android Developer (Contract)
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Svalbard, Norway. This role is ideal for students or freelancers who are passionate about mobile development and looking for a flexible work arrangement.

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers and designers to understand client requirements and translate them into functional, user-friendly apps.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient code that adheres to industry standards
- Troubleshoot and debug existing code to fix issues
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience developing native Android applications
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, APIs, and third-party libraries
- Knowledge of mobile UI design principles and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
