Senior Android Developer

We are in need of an experienced Android Developer to join our team in Oslo. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our team of developers and designers to deliver high-quality, user-friendly mobile experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of the latest mobile trends, as well as experience with developing for multiple screen sizes and devices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across different devices and OS versions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android Studio and other development tools such as Gradle and ADB
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and ability to translate designs into high-quality code
- Understanding of mobile security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
