Information Security Analyst

As an Information Security Analyst for our company, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization's sensitive information and systems from cyber threats. This position is based in Faro and offers a salary of 1100$. We are looking for a skilled individual with experience in information security, particularly in the realm of data protection and risk management. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks
- Implement security protocols and controls to prevent unauthorized access or data breaches
- Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect and respond to any suspicious activity
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
- Develop incident response plans and lead investigations in the event of a security breach
- Provide training and support to employees on information security policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in information security analysis or related roles
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud-based security solutions (e.g. AWS Security Hub)
- Knowledge of ethical hacking techniques and penetration testing tools
