Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and construction of various civil engineering projects in Oslo. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of 1400$, ideal for recent graduates or those without prior experience in the field. You will work closely with senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the civil engineering process.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assist with project planning
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure project success
- Utilize computer-aided design software to create technical drawings and models
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior engineers
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Previous internship or co-op experience in the civil engineering field
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Ability to speak Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
