Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for protecting the organization's computer systems and networks from cyber threats and attacks. They will analyze and assess potential vulnerabilities, develop strategies to mitigate risk, and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, knowledge of current security tools and protocols, and the ability to stay up-to-date on emerging threats and trends.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor network activity for potential security breaches
- Investigate incidents and provide timely response to any security breaches
- Stay informed on current industry trends, developments, and best practices in information security
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems
- Train employees on safe computing practices and company policies regarding information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network technologies (firewalls, routers)
- Familiarity with various programming languages (Python, Java) is a plus
- Experience with incident response procedures and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels

Salary: 1800$ per month
