Junior Civil Engineer - Contract Position in Braga, Portugal


We are hiring a Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced engineers and assist in the design, planning, and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience in the field to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures
- Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications
- Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility
- Prepare technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct research and gather information on materials, regulations, and best practices related to projects
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and cost estimates
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, concepts, and practices
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Microstation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1800$ per month.

This role is based in Braga, Portugal.
