Junior Web Developer

We are hiring a highly motivated and dynamic Junior Web Developer to join our team in Vianden. As a Junior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications according to client specifications. You will work closely with our senior developers to learn new skills and technologies while contributing your own ideas and creative solutions to projects. This is a part-time position with the possibility of accommodation for non-English speaking candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Work on website and web application development projects from concept to launch
- Collaborate with senior developers to understand project requirements and provide input on technical feasibility
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages as needed
- Troubleshoot and debug code issues to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain existing websites by identifying and fixing bugs or other issues
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in web development

Requirements:
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal
- Basic knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS or LESS
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience with website design or development projects
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices

Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vianden (accommodation available for non-local candidates)
