Junior Librarian - Ar Rumaythiyah, Africa


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Junior Librarian to join our team in Ar Rumaythiyah. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the library, including cataloging and shelving books, managing patron accounts, and providing excellent customer service. This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ per month and accommodation provided.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Experience working in a library setting preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with cataloging and shelving books
- Manage patron accounts, including checking out and returning materials
- Provide reference assistance to library visitors
- Assist with collection development and maintenance
- Support library programs and events
