Gardener for Tropical Garden in Malindi

We are in search of an experienced gardener to take care of a tropical garden in Malindi. This is a contract job with a salary of 1000$ and is suitable for men, preferably from Pakistan or Africa. This position requires no English proficiency as the main language spoken at the garden is Swahili.

As a Gardener, your main responsibilities will include maintaining and caring for the tropical plants and trees in the garden, watering them regularly, pruning and trimming as needed, and ensuring that they are free from pests and diseases. You will also be responsible for fertilizing the soil, planting new flowers and trees, and removing any dead or damaged plants.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a gardener in a tropical climate and will be familiar with the different types of plants found in such environments. You should also have a good knowledge of gardening tools and equipment, as well as proper techniques for maintaining a healthy garden.

In addition to your gardening duties, you may also be required to perform general maintenance tasks around the garden such as cleaning walkways and patios, repairing fences or other structures, and assisting with special projects or events held in the garden.

The successful candidate must be physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time. You should also have good communication skills to effectively communicate with other staff members who may not speak English fluently.
