Entry Level Painter in Svalbard


We are seeking an entry level Painter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces in residential and commercial buildings. This is a contract job with a starting salary of 1100$. This is a great opportunity for freshers to gain experience in the painting industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply primer and paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters and clean up after completing job
- Follow safety precautions and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in painting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time

Location: This position is based in Svalbard. Non-Svalbard residents are welcome to apply; however, preference will be given to candidates who are already residing in the area.
