Entry Level Database Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual with a strong understanding of database management to join our team as an Entry Level Database Administrator. As an Entry Level Database Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with database design, implementation, and maintenance. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or a related field, but candidates without prior experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with database design, implementation, and maintenance
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data integrity and security
- Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans
- Create and update documentation on database procedures
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in database technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
- Familiarity with data modeling principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, etc.)
- Experience with database security protocols
- Previous experience in a similar role

Salary: $1300/month
