We are searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team at the Triesen Public Library. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and knowledge, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and finding materials, and organizing library events and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by cataloging, shelving, and maintaining an organized system
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and locating materials
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, recommending books, and providing information on library services
- Plan and organize library events and programs such as book clubs, author talks, and children's storytime
- Stay updated on new releases, popular titles, and industry trends to make informed decisions on purchasing new materials
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory, patron accounts, and circulation statistics
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop creative ways to engage the community through the library

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of literature across genres and age groups
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages a plus)
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with digital cataloging systems
- Passion for promoting literacy within the community

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Salary will be $1600 per month. Please note that accommodation is not provided.
