Part-Time Preservation Architect



We are seeking a skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Lahore. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings, monuments, and other structures by conducting research, analyzing materials, and developing restoration plans.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to understand their significance and architectural features
- Inspecting buildings and structures to assess their condition and identify areas that require preservation or restoration
- Analyzing materials used in the construction of historical buildings to determine the best methods for preservation
- Developing restoration plans that adhere to local historic preservation guidelines and regulations
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans
- Supervising the preservation process to ensure quality and adherence to guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records of all preservation work done on each building or structure
- Staying updated on new techniques and technologies in the field of preservation architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or restoration work
- Knowledge of historical architectural styles, building materials, and construction techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software programs
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting plans to clients
- Must be legally eligible for employment in Lahore
