IT Support Specialist


As an IT Support Specialist for our company in Svalbard, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers. Your main duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and maintaining computer systems, and assisting with network maintenance. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for customers
- Set up and maintain computer systems
- Assist with network maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Document all support activities using our ticketing system
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical problems
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
- Customer-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g. HTML, CSS) is a plus

Education:
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) will also be considered.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with accommodation in Svalbard.
