Merchandiser for Retail Store in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain


A fast-paced retail store in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal and organization of our store while ensuring efficient inventory management. You will work closely with the buying team to analyze sales trends and make strategic decisions on product placement and promotions. This position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing displays that attract customers and highlight key products
- Maintain proper stock levels by monitoring inventory levels and submitting replenishment orders
- Collaborate with buying team to analyze sales data and make decisions on product placement, promotions, and markdowns
- Conduct regular store walks to assess visual presentation and identify areas for improvement
- Train store staff on visual merchandising techniques and standards
- Ensure all merchandise is priced accurately and in accordance with company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including buying, marketing, and operations departments
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity to inform merchandising decisions

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Merchandiser or Visual Merchandiser in a retail setting
- Strong understanding of retail math including markdowns, margins, turn rates, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English; Arabic language skills preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed

Salary:
$1200 USD per month
