Data Mining Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods and tools
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within data to uncover insights and inform business decisions
- Develop strategies for optimizing data mining processes and improving overall data quality
- Collaborate with other team members to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reports or dashboards to track them
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Strong background in statistical analysis tools such as R or Python
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex problems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies within datasets

Preferred:
- Experience working with large datasets using Hadoop or other big data technologies
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
