Indian Pastry Chef in Riyadh



Our restaurant in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Indian Pastry Chef to join our team. As an Indian Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that reflect the unique flavors of Indian cuisine. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all pastry dishes are prepared to the highest standards and meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats inspired by Indian flavors and ingredients
- Develop new recipes while also maintaining the quality and consistency of existing menu items
- Oversee all aspects of pastry production, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and ensuring proper storage and handling
- Train and supervise other pastry cooks or assistants to maintain high standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create a cohesive menu that offers a balance of sweet and savory dishes
- Follow food safety regulations at all times to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Experience creating desserts and pastries with Indian influences is preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, flavor combinations, and presentation styles
- Ability to manage a team and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Saudi Arabia
