Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Company in Lusail, Qatar

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and calibrating various control systems and instruments used in the oil and gas industry. You will work on a variety of equipment such as transmitters, controllers, sensors, valves and other electronic equipment. Your role will involve troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with instruments, performing routine maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure efficient operation of the facility.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of control systems, instrumentation principles and electrical safety regulations
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on various instruments used in the facility
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation equipment
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed
- Calibrate instruments according to established procedures
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities performed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and share information

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

This position is based at our facility in Lusail, Qatar.
