Contract Office Assistant in Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Funchal. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including answering phone calls, organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, and assisting with other clerical duties as needed. Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and redirect them when necessary
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Prepare documents and reports as needed
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness of the office space
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or certificate in office administration preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Salary:
This is a contract position with a monthly salary of 1800$.
