Job Title: Freelance Translator


We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Translator to join our team in Washington, working with clients from various countries. As a Freelance Translator, you will be responsible for accurately translating written documents, audio recordings, or videos from one language to another. This role requires excellent command of both English and the native language of the client.

Responsibilities:
- Translate written documents, audio recordings, or videos accurately and efficiently
- Ensure translated content maintains original meaning and tone
- Proofread translated materials for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific translation needs
- Use translation software and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality translations
- Maintain confidentiality of all materials being translated

Requirements:
- Native proficiency in English and at least one other language (Indian languages preferred)
- Proven experience as a translator or similar role
- Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in both English and native language
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under pressure
- Experience using translation software and tools (e.g. Trados)
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients from different countries

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington (remote position)

Nationality: Indian preferred but not required

Other Requirements: Must have a biometric passport valid for all countries.
