Part-Time Interpreter


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team in Bergen. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective interpretation services for clients in various industries. This is a part-time position with a competitive salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services between English and another language for clients in meetings, conferences, and other settings
- Understand the context and cultural nuances of the languages being interpreted to ensure accurate communication
- Maintain confidentiality of all information exchanged during interpretation
- Research and prepare specialized vocabulary and terminology relevant to each assignment
- Collaborate with other interpreters to ensure consistent interpretation services are provided

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an interpreter, preferably in a professional setting
- Fluent in English and at least one other language
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and ability to adapt communication accordingly
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to multitask under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Interpretation or related field
- Certified interpreter or member of professional interpreting organization
- Previous experience working with technical or legal terminology
