DevOps Developer - Alta, Norway

We are searching for a highly skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Alta, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our company's DevOps infrastructure and processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development and a strong understanding of automation, deployment, and monitoring tools. As a DevOps Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of our applications and services. This is a contract position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient DevOps processes and infrastructure
- Automate software deployment, testing, and monitoring processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and performance
- Manage cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS or Azure
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software development or operations role
- Strong understanding of automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Proficient in programming languages like Python or Java
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
