Senior Accountant

We are a leading accounting firm in Braga, seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Monitor and maintain cash flow
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to junior accountants
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
