Hotel Sales Manager
Our luxury hotel in Nairobi is seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase market share. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue them
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential customers
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional campaigns
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Prepare sales reports and present them to upper management
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel sales or a related field
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of market trends in the hospitality industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and potential customers
- Experience in conducting market research and analyzing data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility in working hours. Non-native speakers are welcome to apply as long as they have a good command of English. We also provide visa sponsorship for foreign candidates.
