We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Bergen. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and typesetting text and images for print and digital publications. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Format and typeset text and images for books, magazines, newspapers, and other publications
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production team to ensure high-quality layout and design
- Edit and proofread materials to ensure accuracy of grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Implement design templates and style guides for consistency across publications
- Communicate with printers to ensure proper printing specifications are met
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Typesetter or similar role in publishing or printing industry is preferred
- Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or LaTeX
- Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, or related field
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for digital publication formatting
