Insurance Claims Adjuster

As an Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and liability. You will work closely with policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and evidence to support your findings. Your main goal will be to accurately assess the extent of damages or losses and negotiate fair settlements with claimants. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. You must also have a thorough understanding of insurance policies and regulations in order to make sound decisions. This position is based in Eldoret and is open to Indian or African candidates who are fluent in English and have their own visa.

Salary: $1200 per month

Responsibilities:
- Investigate insurance claims by gathering information from various sources such as police reports, medical records, and witness statements
- Analyze policy coverage and determine liability for damages or losses
- Evaluate the extent of damages or losses by inspecting property, reviewing medical documents, and consulting with experts when necessary
- Communicate with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and other relevant parties to negotiate settlements
- Document findings and actions taken throughout the claims process
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations while handling claims
- Stay updated on industry trends, laws, and regulations related to insurance claims

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Insurance Claims Adjuster
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and procedures
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies or discrepancies in claims data
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with empathy while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English is a must
- Indian or African nationality with a valid work visa
