Job Title: Executive Chef (Indian Cuisine)

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine to join our team in Washington. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Indian kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menu items based on seasonal availability and customer demand
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation at all times
- Train and manage a team of kitchen staff, ensuring a positive work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain operational efficiency
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and promote special events or themed menus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport preferred but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Accommodation provided for seasonal job
Salary:
Starting salary of $1600 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
