We are in need of a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Svalbard. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, security protocols, and system administration. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our network, ensuring its smooth functioning, and maintaining the security of our systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Implement security measures to protect our network from unauthorized access or attacks.
- Manage user accounts and permissions for all systems.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in networking to make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Experience with biometric passport technology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Familiarity with security protocols such as SSL/TLS, IPsec.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary:
