Crane Operator Assistant


The Crane Operator Assistant will assist the crane operator in safely and efficiently operating the crane to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites. This position is perfect for students looking for hands-on experience in the field of construction and heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the crane operator in daily equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Learn how to operate the crane under the supervision of the crane operator
- Assist with setting up and dismantling the crane at construction sites
- Help to move materials around the job site using the crane
- Communicate effectively with other team members and follow instructions from supervisors
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled as a student or recent graduate in a relevant field such as construction management or heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Understanding of basic mechanical concepts and willingness to learn how to operate heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Must be detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable

Salary: 1000$ per month (negotiable based on experience).

City: Almada, Portugal (Preference for Portuguese nationality).
