Crane Operator



We are currently in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Almada. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, or overhead cranes, to lift and move heavy objects on construction sites or industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and control cranes according to safety regulations and procedures
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Determine load capacities and make necessary adjustments to crane settings
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment using the crane
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radio
- Ensure safe transportation of materials from one location to another
- Perform routine maintenance on the crane, such as lubricating parts and replacing worn out components
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and maintain logbooks as required by the company

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or similar role in construction or industrial settings
- Valid biometric passport (if non-national)
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and lift plans
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical stamina to operate controls for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with different types of cranes (mobile, tower, overhead) is a plus
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and at great heights if necessary

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.

This position is located in Almada.
