Merchandiser for Indian Market in Jerusalem

As a Merchandiser for the Indian market in Jerusalem, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are effectively displayed and promoted to attract and engage our target audience. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and plans for product placement, pricing, and promotions. Your main goal will be to increase sales and brand awareness among the Indian community in Jerusalem.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to understand the preferences and buying habits of Indian consumers in Jerusalem
- Develop merchandising plans and strategies tailored specifically to the Indian market
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking when necessary
- Create visually appealing displays that highlight our products' features and benefits
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns targeted towards the Indian community
- Train and supervise store staff on effective merchandising techniques
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a merchandiser or similar role, preferably in the retail industry targeting Indian consumers
- Knowledge of the Indian market, consumer behavior, and cultural preferences
- Strong communication skills, particularly in English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with visual merchandising techniques is a plus
