Job Title: Preservation Architect

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Bergen. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years experience in the field of preservation architecture and a strong understanding of the local building codes and regulations. You will work closely with city officials, clients, and contractors to develop preservation plans and oversee restoration projects. As a Preservation Architect, your main duties will include conducting site surveys to assess the condition of historic structures, creating detailed preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines, and overseeing restoration projects from start to finish. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients to understand their needs and expectations, as well as collaborating with contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture, preferably within the city of Bergen. You should also have a deep understanding of building codes and regulations specific to historic structures. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with various stakeholders throughout the preservation process.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and has a strong passion for preserving historical buildings. You must also possess strong project management skills and be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This part-time position offers a salary of 1400$ per month and does not include accommodation. However, we do provide visa sponsorship for international candidates.
