Mason - Urgent Contract Position in La-Condamine, Monaco



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team on an urgent contract basis in La-Condamine, Monaco. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing buildings, walls and other structures using various types of materials such as brick, stone, concrete and tile.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the layout and dimensions of structures.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, levels, plumb bobs or other measuring tools.
- Mix cement, sand and water to produce concrete or grout according to specifications.
- Lay bricks or other masonry units in horizontal rows to create walls or other structures.
- Spread mortar between bricks or stones using trowels or other tools.
- Cut or saw bricks, stones or blocks to desired size using power tools or hand tools.
- Install firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks.
- Repair cracks or damaged masonry units in existing structures.
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces of newly laid brickwork using rags, sponges or brushes.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong knowledge of different masonry materials and techniques.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 USD per week.

This position is located in La-Condamine, Monaco. Please note that accommodation is not provided for this contract job.
